Pastor C.W. Mayberry
Torah Observant Apostolics of Baton Rouge, Louisiana
This is probably the most common question people ask us and the answer is surprisingly simple.
This is probably best broken down into two questions.
What is Torah Observant?
Being Torah Observant simply means that we believe in the teachings that God revealed to Moses and is contained in the first five books of the Bible. People often refer to Torah as "God's law," but the word Torah actually means "teaching" and "instruction" as well as "law."
What is Apostolic?
Being Apostolic means to keep the Apostle's Doctrine. In other words, being like the Apostles who walked in the teachings of Jesus. It means abiding in Jesus and walking as He walked. This include baptism in His name and being filled with the Holy Spirit which is what most accociate with the "Pentecostal experience" - but it goes so much deeper than that.
Torah Observant Apostolic IS Spirit and Truth
It unites the spirit of the Apostle's doctrine with the truth of Torah for a rich, fulfilling whole Bible worship of our creator. It allows you to cultivate a deeper, more meaningful relationship with your Creator because then you are truly walking as He walked.
What is Torah Observant Apostolic?
Torah Observant Apostolic means adhering to the TRUE Apostle's Doctrine and walking as Jesus walked.
It means bringing together the truth of Torah with the seventh day Sabbath and Feast Days of the Lord and the Spirit of Acts 2:38 Apostolic doctrine.
It means being a TRUE whole Bible believer.
